Retail, from start to finish

Jenna Sy is a marketing and brand experience specialist and publicist based in Manila, Philippines. Now with over 10 years of professional experience in merchandising, managing employees, promoting brands, and engaging with media and press, she has built a strong portfolio in retail with the ability to move products from the warehouse, to shelves, and into customers’ homes.

She has successfully mounted revenue-generating campaigns on-ground and online for international retail, entertainment, and F&B brands. Jenna prides herself in doing effective social media management and delivering well-attended publicity events with coverage in major broadsheets, TV stations, and online media and attendance from over 300 personalities, influencers, and key opinion leaders.

While getting things done at the front of house is what she is most recognized for, some of Jenna’s best work goes on behind the scenes—merchandising, trade marketing, researching consumer behavior, handling in-store promotions, and, most importantly, training and motivating associates and merchandisers in the pursuit of stellar sales.

Before her success in retail, she graduated with a degree in Applied Economics from De La Salle University Manila and took up Mandarin at the Beijing Language and Culture University. She also pursued further studies in International Management in China where she was awarded a Merit in SOAS from University of London.
